Tajik Ambassador to Russia Meets Governor of Sverdlovsk Region

DUSHANBE, 26.08.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Russia Davlatshoh Gulmahmadzoda as part of his working visit to Yekaterinburg met with the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuyvashev.
The parties exchanged views in detail on the current state of interaction between the regions of Tajikistan and the Sverdlovsk region in various fields.
They expressed interest in expanding interregional cooperation, including in such areas as education, healthcare, labor migration, culture, tourism, as well as in training highly qualified personnel and increasing the number of quotas for Tajik students in higher educational institutions of the Sverdlovsk region.
The Tajik Ambassador noted the importance of using the existing potential to expand and strengthen cooperation in trade and economic sphere, as well as attract investment.
The meeting particularly focused on the issues of export of Tajik products to Sverdlovsk and the creation of joint ventures in the territory of free economic zones of Tajikistan.
Gulmahmadzoda also invited the administration and business circles of Sverdlovsk to take part in the international investment forum Tajikistan — Russia, which will be held in Tajikistan this year.
