FM Muhriddin Meets His Kyrgyz Counterpart and UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs and Peacebuilding in New York

DUSHANBE, 24.09.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 23 in New York, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev, and the UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs and Peacebuilding Rosemary DiCarlo held a trilateral meeting.
The officials exchanged views on the situation on the Tajik-Kyrgyz state border and expressed their readiness to continue negotiations for the peaceful settlement of the issue.
Additionally, the parties noted the importance of fulfilling the agreements within the framework of the signed protocol on the settlement of the armed conflict on the Tajik-Kyrgyz border areas dated September 19, 2022.
