DUSHANBE, 18.09.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
In the context of continuing their regular dialogue, the two leaders discussed certain aspects of Tajik – Russian friendly relations within the strategic partnership.
The discussion also focused on the recent events in Central Asia, especially the latest developments in the Tajik — Kyrgyz border areas.
Other aspects of ensuring regional security were also discussed, including the Afghan issues.
They also discussed the issues of the upcoming bilateral and multilateral agenda.
