DUSHANBE, 22.09.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs states violations of Tajikistan’s airspace by unmanned aerial vehicles flying from the territory of Kyrgyzstan are continuing.
Yesterday, from 19:14 until 22:46, Kyrgyz UAVs were observed flying over Isfara, Konibodom, Devashtich, Jabbor Rasulov, Bobojon Gaffurov, Lakhsh, Rasht, and Murghob of Tajikistan. Kyrgyz UAVs have also been spotted over the Tajik frontier posts Rosrovut, Muryak, and Nurobod.
“We regard such provocative actions of the Kyrgyz side as a gross violation of all agreements and encroachment on the territory of a sovereign state,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs states.
Tajikistan demands that the Kyrgyz side immediately stop violating the airspace of the Republic of Tajikistan. Otherwise, the Tajik side will regard the situation as preparation for another aggression of Kyrgyzstan, the responsibility for which will lie with the Kyrgyz side.
