Tajikistan’s Assistance Package Has Reached Pakistan

DUSHANBE, 16.09.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan’s humanitarian aid to Pakistan was delivered yesterday.
The aid consists of 500 tons of flour, 500 tons of drinking water, 1,000 tons of coal, 1,000 tons of cement, and 2,000 pieces of slate, the total weight of which is more than 3,000 tons, and the amount is 12,200,000 somoni.
Pakistan has been under heavy rains and floods for over a month. As a result 1,265 individuals have died, with a total of 226,000 people facing the effects of the floods.
Additionally, a great number of residential buildings, roads, bridges, other infrastructure, and agricultural land have been completely destroyed.
