Tehran Hosts Conference Dedicated to 30 Years of Relations Between Tajikistan and Iran

DUSHANBE, 03.11.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On November 1, a conference entitled 30 years of Tajikistan-Iran relations and their prospects was held at the initiative of the Embassy of Tajikistan in Iran jointly with Tehran International Studies & Research Institute.
The conference was attended by employees of science and culture, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran and local mass media, as well as Tajik compatriots living in Iran.
The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Iran Nizomiddin Zohidi, Director of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of Tajikistan Khairiddin Usmonzoda, Director of Tehran International Studies & Research Institute Abed Akbari, Director General of the Center for General Diplomacy and Media of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran Alireza Dilkhush, famous Iranian researcher of Tajikistan’s history and culture Nader Karimiyan Sardashti and others discussed the state and prospects of relations between Tajikistan and Iran over the past 30 years, and expressed their thoughts and suggestions on ways to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation between the two friendly countries.
As part of this event, exhibitions of photographs of natural and cultural-historical sights of Tajikistan was also organized. Books authored by President Emomali Rahmon and works of Tajik writers, poets and scientists in Persian and English were also showcased.
