Muzaffar Huseinzoda Attends Meeting of Central Asian Deputy Foreign Ministers

DUSHANBE, 13.12.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On December 11 in Ashgabat, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Muzaffar Huseinzoda participated and addressed the 12th meeting of Deputy Foreign Ministers of Central Asian countries.
He expressed his views on the importance of joint fight against modern threats and challenges, including terrorism and extremism, drug trafficking, organized crime and climate change problems.
Huseizoda also briefed the participants on the efforts of the government of Tajikistan to strengthen dialogue, especially within the framework of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA), in order to find effective ways to counter the above threats.
Also, he drew the attention of the participants to the “Dushanbe Process on countering terrorism”, as well as high-level international events organized within the framework of this process.
