DUSHANBE, 21.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda met with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
The meeting focused on issues related to the current situation and the prospects for multifaceted intergovernmental cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia.
The parties noted with satisfaction that the friendly relations and strategic partnership of the two states in all directions are entering a qualitatively new stage, constantly developing and expanding.
It was emphasized the key role of the heads of the two states in the development of cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia.
The parties also discussed the state and prospects of intergovernmental cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, investment, industry, energy, healthcare, education, transport, tourism, agriculture, culture and the social sphere.
Rasulzoda noted that the expansion of multifaceted cooperation with the Russia plays an important role in the foreign policy of Tajikistan.
The meeting also focused on issues of further strengthening bilateral relations and strategic partnership, as well as prospects for expanding practical cooperation.
The parties exchanged views on other issues of intergovernmental relations.
