Consequences of Natural Disasters Are Being Eliminated in Khorug

DUSHANBE, 16.02.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The elimination of the consequences of natural disasters and the search for the bodies of two missing citizens continues in Khorug for the second day, report the administration of the Chairman of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO).
On behalf of President Emomali Rahmon, a permanent commission operates in the region. The employees of regional departments, institutions of Khorug, security and military structures, law enforcement agencies, as well as local residents continue to search for the bodies of two missing citizens.
Responsible persons were instructed to use all possibilities for the unhindered extraction of the wanted bodies from under the snow. Hot meals are being prepared for the persons taking part in the search operations, and every opportunity is being used to find the bodies as soon as possible.
The GBAO administration requests all residents and guests not to leave unnecessarily, to refrain from moving through dangerous areas and not endanger their lives.
The process of eliminating the consequences of natural disasters is under the personal control of the President Emomali Rahmon.
