Flights from Dushanbe to Urumqi will be carried out once a week, and from March two flights a week will be operated.
Air traffic between Dushanbe and Urumqi has been suspended since March 2020 due to the spread of COVID-19 and the announcement of a pandemic by the World Health Organization.
Valiev said that in 2022, Somon Air purchased two Boeing 737-800s on lease from Aviation Capital Group.
