Tajikistan Represented at the Surajkund International Crafts Mela in India

DUSHANBE, 28.02.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The creative team of Tajikistan in February took part at the Surajkund International Crafts Mela in India.
Participants from more than 50 countries presented their national art and folk crafts.
The Tajik pavilion was organized by the institutions of the Ministry of Culture, private companies, and the unions of artisans.
In particular, the Tajik culture and art were presented by the artists of the Chaman dance ensemble and the singers of the Falak ensemble of the Akasharif Juraev Tajik State Philharmonic, the Tajik National Conservatory named after T. Sattorov, as well as artisans.
An exhibition of folk crafts and a defile of national clothes were also presented.
Tajik chefs prepared plov (pilaf) with great skill, which was tasted by representatives of all nations and nationalities.
