Deputy of the Tajik Parliament Attends the International Conference Virtually

DUSHANBE, 06.04.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On April 5, Deputy of the Assembly of Representatives Parvina Malikzoda took part in the international conference entitled “Sustainable Development Goals and the Constitution: the Experience of the SCO Member States,” which was held virtually in Tashkent.
The conference was held at the initiative of the Constitutional Commission for the formation of proposals and the implementation of organizational measures to introduce amendments and additions to the Constitution of Uzbekistan together with the civil society institutions of this state.
The conference was also attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, experts and analysts.
The main goals and objectives of the international conference were a comparative analysis of the reflection of the Sustainable Development Goals in the constitutions of the SCO member states and the development of relevant proposals and recommendations for use in the reform of the Constitution in Uzbekistan.
The speakers also spoke about ensuring effective cooperation between state and non-state non-profit organizations in achieving national sustainable development goals, promoting familiarization of the entire world community with constitutional reforms in Uzbekistan, preparing and holding the upcoming referendum in this country.
