On March 17, within the framework of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon to the Russian Federation, a virtual ceremony of the start of construction of two important social and humanitarian facilities in the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the hall of the Kremlin Palace.
At the ceremony of launching the construction of the State Russian Drama Theater named after Vladimir Mayakovsky and the International Educational Center for the Training of Gifted Children in Dushanbe, the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustam Emomali, and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ms. Dilrabo Mansuri, reported on the preparations for the ceremony from the construction site.
With the consent of the Heads of State, Honorable Emomali Rahmon and Honorable Vladimir Putin, the foundation stone for the construction of the State Russian Drama Theater named after Vladimir Mayakovsky and the International Educational Center for the Training of Gifted Children in Dushanbe was laid by the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustam Emomali, and other responsible persons from both sides.
The Heads of State and other attendees watched the groundbreaking ceremony of these two important cultural and educational facilities on large monitors in the Kremlin Palace.
It is worth noting that the start of construction of these two facilities is another sign of the steady expansion of humanitarian and cultural ties between Tajikistan and Russia.
