Khatlon Region Increases the Volume of Agricultural Production

DUSHANBE, 20.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Khatlon region has increased the volume of agricultural production.
From January through May of this year, 355,671 tons of vegetables were produced in all types of agriculture in the region, which is 13.1% more than in the same period in 2022. During this period, 10,211 tons of gourds were produced in all types of agriculture in the region, which is 78.4% more than last year.
Region produced 17,166 tons of fruits in all forms of agriculture, which is 36.5% more than in 2022.
Public farms and farmers of the region produced 13,847 tons of fruit, which is 2,727 tons more than in the same period in 2022 and is 124.5%.
