Tajikistan and Qatar Create a Joint Business Council

DUSHANBE, 29.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 25, in Doha, an Agreement was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan and the Chamber of Commerce of the State of Qatar on the establishment of a joint business council.
The agreement was signed by the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan Jamshed Jumakhonzoda and the First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Qatar Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Tovar al-Kuwari.
The parties also discussed ways to strengthen and expand cooperation in the areas of trade, economy, industry, investment, export and import, as well as to create on these basis effective tools for mutually beneficial cooperation between the private sector of the two states.
The signing of this agreement will bring trade relations between Tajikistan and the State of Qatar to a qualitatively new level.
