Entrepreneurs of Khatlon Region Export 7430 Tons of Agricultural Products

DUSHANBE, 18.07.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Entrepreneurs of the Khatlon region exported 7430 tons of agricultural products until July 4.
In particular, 1956.8 tons of early onions, 718 tons of melons, 1555 tons of grapes, 18 tons of lemons and 3182.2 tons of other agricultural products were exported. Most of the agricultural products were exported mainly to Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Russia, Turkiye and Belarus.
The total volume of agricultural production increased to over 11.9 billion somoni, which is over 675.1 million somoni more than in the same period last year.
In general, the trade turnover in the 6 months of 2023 in the region reached over 6.2 billion somoni, which is 116.9%, or 904.7 million somoni, more than the same period last year.
The foreign trade turnover during this period reached $ 226.4 million.
