One Village — One Product intend to create new jobs in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 24.02.2025 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the Japanese Agency for International Cooperation presented «One village — one product» (OVOP) project, reports the MoEDT press department.
The project will be implemented in Central Asia and is at the development stage. OVOP in Tajikistan can contribute to the creation of new jobs, development of entrepreneurship and handicrafts, especially in remote villages.
The project in Tajikistan is implemented at the initiative of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and JICA and aims to create a sustainable and effective network for the development of innovative products and their transformation into international brands.
