490 New Industrial Enterprises Were Put Into Operation in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 14.08.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – In order to achieve the accelerated industrialization, increase the volume of production and ensure market demand for domestic competitive products, commission new capacities, use production and export capacities, 490 new industrial enterprises were commissioned with the creation of 2400 new jobs.
As a result of the measures taken in the first half of 2023, the volume of industrial production amounted to 20.7 billion somoni, the pace of its development was 10.3%. The pace of development of the industry is ensured by an increase in the volume of manufacturing production by 14.2%, the mining industry by 7.3%, the supply of electricity, gas, steam and air purification by 13.6%.
