DUSHANBE, 07.09.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 6, the Chairman of the Khatlon region Davlatali Said met with the Representative of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization in Tajikistan (FAO) Oleg Guchgeldiyev.
The meeting focused on issues of expanding bilateral cooperation and attracting foreign investment for the development of agriculture, access to new technologies, providing high-quality and productive seeds, attracting grant funds for the development of women’s entrepreneurship and other important issues.
The topics of development of the Khatlon region were also touched upon.
FAO makes a significant contribution to the development of the agricultural sector, ensuring food security and food safety.
The parties expressed hope for further cooperation in the implementation of socio-economic programs in the region.
