DUSHANBE, 14.09.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 14, in the city residence of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, met with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honorable Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who arrived in Tajikistan to participate in the Fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the Meeting of the Council of the Heads of the Founding States of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.
During the meeting, a set of issues of strategic partnership and alliance of the countries, as well as the agenda of high-level events, which will be held on September 14 and 15 in the capital of Tajikistan — Dushanbe, were discussed.
The parties considered important issues of bilateral relations, cooperation in priority commercial and economic areas, including opportunities to increase the volume of goods turnover.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the effective relations between the business circles of the two countries and the results of the Tajik-Kazakh Business Forum, which was held a few days ago in Tajikistan.
There was also a fruitful discussion on other issues of mutual interest.
