Tajik FM Muhriddin Attends an Extraordinary Meeting of the SCO Foreign Ministers in New York

DUSHANBE, 21.09.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 20, in the margins of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin participated and addressed the extraordinary meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states.
In his speech, Muhriddin highlighted the important role played by regional organizations, including the SCO in reinforcing United Nations efforts in countering the challenges and threats of the modern world.
Minister also emphasized the importance of constant dialogue between the SCO and the UN on the issues of countering the drug threat emanating from the territory of Afghanistan.
