Director of the Export Agency Meets the World Bank Representatives

DUSHANBE, 03.10.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The current situation and prospects for joint relations to develop the export of goods and products of Tajikistan and enter the world market through e-commerce, further strengthening and expanding cooperation in the field of marketing and logistics were discussed during a meeting of the Director of the Export Agency Bahriddin Sirojiddinzoda and representatives of the World Bank E-commerce Project Obert Pimhidzai and Chiyu Niyu.
The meeting also focused on issue of creating logistics centers in the areas of packaging, processing, reservation, storage and export of products outside the country.
In this regard, the Director of the Agency noted that the necessary measures have been taken to resolve logistics issues and that foreign investment is needed to create logistics centers.
The parties discussed the types of mechanisms used in the harvesting process, existing issues in the agricultural export process, areas of cooperation and future plans to develop the export of fresh fruits, including lemons, cherries and grapes, to China through e-commerce.
Representatives of the World Bank expressed their readiness to cooperate with the Export Agency to support the proposals of this agency.
