DUSHANBE, 26.10.2023 (NIAT Khovar) –  On October 26, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, arrived in Rudaki district to get acquainted with the development and construction works, the expansion of autumn sowing and the opening of a number of different economic and social facilities.

The Head of State Emomali Rahmon opened the «Hilol» poultry breeding enterprise in Sarob village of Zainabobod rural community of Rudaki district and got acquainted with its activities.

The new factory is mainly engaged in the breeding of turkeys, partridges and pheasants, and it aims to satisfy the needs of domestic markets with dietary poultry meat. With the growth of cultivation and production capacity, the export of final products to other countries is planned in the future.

The start of operation of this enterprise led to the employment of 50 local residents.

Honorable Emomali Rahmon was informed that «Hilol» poultry breeding factory has the capacity to grow 70 thousand turkeys, partridges and pheasants at one stage, and to care for and breed up to 1 million of these birds per year.

The demand for the meat of turkey, partridge and pheasant is very high in consumer markets, because the meat of these birds is dietary. The opening of the «Hilol» factory, in turn, will greatly improve the supply of this type of product to the population, as the factory has the capacity to produce and offer to buyers up to 300 tons of meat of these three types of birds per year.

All stages of breeding, from incubation to bird care and slaughter, are carried out in the enterprise.

In total, the new facility has 11 buildings, and inside it there are poultry buildings, hatchery — chicken breeding, poultry slaughterhouse, cold room for storage of finished products, administrative building and canteen for employees.

Incubated eggs imported from France, Russia, England and Iran are grown in a separate factory using modern industry technology. The factory has advanced devices for proper care of eggs and ensuring high production productivity. Depending on the bird’s eggs, it hatches chicks in 24 to 29 days. In the future, the needs of the hatchery will be met by the company’s own egg production.

Poultry breeding has been started in 6 separate buildings. In particular, the care of turkeys, pheasants and partridges is carried out using the cage method and the usual form, and this stage is carried out automatically.

It was revealed that the supply of bird feed is also satisfied due to the activity of a separate shop of the enterprise itself. Here, up to 43 tons of mixed bird feed is produced per month using individual ingredients imported from abroad.

It should be noted that the purpose of establishing the «Hilol» bird breeding enterprise is not only to provide the population with dietary bird meat, but it is planned to increase the number of rare birds in the nature of Tajikistan with the opening of this enterprise. Because every year, along with slaughtering, this enterprise also releases up to 100 thousand birds into the open nature in different regions of the country, thereby contributing to the increase in the number of rare birds, environmental protection and ensuring biological diversity.

It should be emphasized that this enterprise for breeding rare birds is unique in Central Asia.

«Hilol» poultry breeding enterprise was built on the area of 4 hectares of land, and its territory is used for the cultivation of agricultural products necessary for the preparation of mixed poultry feed. Water is also available for the production activities of the enterprise and the cultivation of lands from the vertical well built in the territory of the enterprise. Also, within the framework of the construction of the «Hilol» poultry breeding enterprise, about 1 kilometer of the road in the territory of the village of Sarob of rural community of Zainabobod was repaired and paved.

During the visit and introduction of the enterprise, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the modern equipment and facilities of the new enterprise, and gave useful instructions and advice to the officials to ensure the efficiency of the operation, the production of high-quality dietary meat, increase in the volume of production, as well as raising the number of birds in the wild.

Here, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, also visited the exhibition of products of this enterprise and forestry, where various types of trees, eggs and meat of turkey, partridge and pheasant were displayed.
