Medical Universities of Tajikistan and Belarus Sign Cooperation Agreements

DUSHANBE, 11.10.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The Avicenna Tajik State Medical University signed cooperation agreements with the Belarusian Vitebsk State Medical University and the Gomel State Medical University.
The agreements were signed during the second Forum of Rectors of Higher Professional Education Institutions of Tajikistan and Belarus, which took place from October 5 through October 6 in Minsk.
During the forum, the rector of the Tajik State Medical University held bilateral and multilateral meetings with the leadership of higher medical institutions of Belarus on the implementation of mutually beneficial cooperation and called the signing of agreements an important prerequisite for the exchange of best practices and professional development of teachers and students.
The forum is considered an important step in strengthening educational and cultural ties between the two countries.
