Tajik Students Win Silver Medals at 66th International Mathematical Olympiad

DUSHANBE, 22.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik students delivered a strong performance at the 66th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), securing two silver medals, the Republican Center for Talent Identification and Development reported.
The Olympiad was held from July 10 to 20 in Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia, and featured 600 participants from 114 countries worldwide.
Silver medals were awarded to Mashrafjon Inomov and Olimjon Tukhtarov, while another participant, Mehrubon Yusupov, received an honorable mention. The team’s preparation and selection took place in February 2025 at the Republican Center.
The success of Tajik students reflects the country’s focused educational policies. Achievements at international competitions underscore growing youth interest in STEM fields, enhance national prestige, and demonstrate the high level of Tajik students’ academic training on the global stage.
