Academy of Public Administration Launches Two New Programs in Economics and Innovation

DUSHANBE, 21.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan has introduced two new academic programs: Digital Economy and Security of Information Systems Automation in Public Administration, available at both bachelor’s and master’s levels. The announcement was made today by the Academy’s Rector, Davron Safarzoda, during a press conference.
According to Safarzoda, in the 2024–2025 academic year, the Academy will employ 374 faculty members with academic degrees and titles, and the total number of undergraduate and graduate students will reach 5,092.
To promote scientific research, the Academy has established research grants amounting to 10,000 somoni for PhD (Candidate of Sciences) dissertations and 15,000 somoni for doctoral (Doctor of Sciences) dissertations.
It was also noted that during the reporting period, faculty members of the Academy produced 545 research papers and academic publications.
