DUSHANBE, 26.10.2023 (NIAT Khovar) –  On October 26, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, in Rudaki district got acquainted with the detailed planning project of the communities of Somoniyon, Mirzo Tursunzoda, Navobod, Rohati and Chorteppa villages.

During the presentation of the projects, the officials emphasized that based on the general plan, the first part of the detailed planning of the town of Somoniyon on the area of 79.6 hectares for more than 19 thousand people was developed.

This project includes high-rise residential buildings, 4 educational institutions for 3,200 students each in two shifts, 8 kindergartens for 200 to 400 children, a music school, hotels, promenades, a stadium with 20,000 seats, a playground and sports halls, the reconstruction of the «Ganj» market, administrative buildings, an emergency building near the central hospital, a hospital for heart diseases, reconstruction of the Palace of Culture, widening of roads, etc.

Taking into account the partial inclusion of the territory of the community of Mirzo Tursunzoda in the general plan of the country’s capital city of Dushanbe by 2040, it is planned to build a new town in the south-eastern part of it on the basis of old and dilapidated buildings and structures on an area of 10 hectares.

Honorable Emomali Rahmon gave useful advice to the officials in order to improve the conditions for the residents of the town and considered it necessary to use high-quality construction materials, national architectural art and comply with the standards of modern urban planning.

Taking into account the requirements of modern times, the administrative center of the community in the town of Navobod and the villages of Rohati and Chorteppa are also being renovated.

The detailed planning project of the administrative center of this community includes residential buildings of 5-7 floors, kindergartens for 200 children, a field of state symbols, a general secondary education institution for 1200 students per shift, administrative buildings, a health center and service facilities which are foreseen for 1200 to 1400 people.

These projects were developed by JSC «Shahrofar» and SUE «Loihakash» of the Committee of Architecture and Construction under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

President Emomali Rahmon highly evaluated the detailed planning projects of urban and rural communities of Rudaki district and tasked the officials to fully control the flow of work and ensure the quality of construction.
