DUSHANBE, 25.10.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On October 25, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, launched in online mode the activity of «Khishti Vahdat» in the framework of his working trip to the city of Vahdat.

The new production plant was built by domestic entrepreneurs to welcome the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan within the «Years of Industrial Development», 2022-2026.

The total area of the brick factory covers 3 hectares, of which 1.8 hectares is the mine.

The brick factory is located next to the Dushanbe-Vahdat highway, in the foothills of the mountains, and raw materials are extracted using the necessary equipment.

In the newly established enterprise, 30 local residents, some of whom are experts in the field, are provided with well-paid jobs.

Brick production consists of the stages of digging, mixing, molding and baking at high temperatures.

The production capacity of the enterprise is 30 thousand pieces per day and 900 thousand pieces of baked bricks per month. The company produces 5 million bricks per year.

In order to produce construction materials with quality and according to the times, modern devices and equipment have been obtained from the People’s Republic of China, which are fully managed by Tajik specialists.

According to statistics, there are 149 brick production enterprises operating in the republic, including 27 in Khatlon Province, 54 in Sughd Province, 63 in subordinate cities and districts of the republic, 1 in Badakhshan Province and 4 in Dushanbe city.

During the opening of the plant for the production of construction materials «Khishti Vahdat», the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon stated that in order to make production products competitive, to meet the needs of residents with ready-made bricks, and for the regular operation of the new company, workers should constantly make efforts.
