Sirojiddin Muhriddin Attends the Meeting of Central Asia and the EU FMs

DUSHANBE, 24.10.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin attended and addressed the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Central Asia and the European Union.
The meeting, which was held this year in Luxembourg, was also attended by the foreign ministers of the EU member states.
The participants exchanged views on the current state and prospects of regional cooperation.
The “Roadmap” for cooperation between Central Asia and the European Union, adopted today, notes the readiness of the countries of Central Asia and the European Union to further expand cooperation in the areas of energy, connectivity, digitalization, mining and processing of raw materials, as well as security and strengthening of borders and resilience to the effects of climate change.
Following the meeting, a Joint Communique was adopted by the ministers of foreign affairs of Central Asia and the European Union.
