First Deputy FM and Chinese Ambassador Discuss Implementing Joint Investment Projects

DUSHANBE, 24.07.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Khusraw Noziri held a virtual meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Tajikistan Liu Bin.
The meeting mainly focused on the issues relating to the implementation of the joint infrastructure projects.
While considering other issues of mutual interest, the Tajik side drew the attention of the Chinese side to the publications in the Chinese mass media that biasedly covered the topic of the Tajik-Chinese state border.
In this regard, and proceeding from the relations of friendship, good neighborliness and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, it was noted that the parties should take the necessary measures to prevent the publication of such materials in the media.
