DUSHANBE, 01.11.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali received the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia Nikolai Zhuravlev, who is taking part in the twelfth meeting of the Commission on Cooperation between the National Assembly of Tajikistan and the Federal Assembly of Russia.
The meeting focused on the situation and prospects for friendly relations and strategic partnership between Tajikistan and Russia in priority areas, as well as inter-parliamentary relations between the two states.
Rustam Emomali highly appreciated the development of inter-parliamentary relations between Tajikistan and Russia.
The parties exchanged views on strengthening strategic partnership relations.
The meeting also focused on other issues of mutual interest.
