DUSHANBE, 14.12.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On December 14, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, commissioned a new building of the «Center for technical protection of information, certification and expertise» SUE of the Directorate for the Protection of State Secrets under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in Khatlon Province in the city of Bokhtar. 

The facility was built as part of the event plan dedicated to the celebration of the 35th anniversary of state independence.

The building consists of 4 floors, and on the first, second and third floors there are duty units, office and administrative rooms, a library with a rich database of artistic and technical literature, a laboratory, a meeting hall with 60 seats and other auxiliary facilities.

Offices and other facilities of the building are equipped with industry technical means and devices and equipment of the new generation, and favorable conditions are created for the smooth and effective activity of employees. On the upper floor of the building, 6 bedrooms have been built and provided with necessary accessories for guests and employees.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, during his acquaintance with the created conditions, highly appreciated the quality of work, and gave useful instructions and assignments to the personnel for the quality and purposeful performance of service tasks, the study of advanced experience in the field of technical information protection, the use of effective methods of ensuring the protection of limited access information in all sectors. 

It is worth mentioning that to date employees of state secret protection and technical protection of information in Khatlon Province were working in a rented building. The opening of a new building and the supply of necessary equipment and amenities are considered to be the next support of the Government of the country, and it will have an impact on the qualitative and effective implementation of the state policy in this field.

In this place, special technical and testing tools, which were purchased with the support of the Government of the country in the direction of technical protection of information, were presented by the officials of the field.

It was mentioned that the implementation of the «State Program for Strengthening the Protection of State Secrets and Technical Protection of Information in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2022-2026», which was adopted on the direct initiative of the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, will actively contribute to strengthening the regulatory, legal, organizational and infrastructural foundations of the sector. 

The head of state, during a conversation with the staff of the Directorate for Protection of State Secrets, mentioned that in the context of the development of modern science and technology, as well as the digitization of the country’s economy, the issues of technical protection of information and prevention of leakage of information with limited access are important, thus demanding from the officials more vigilance and high professionalism.

In turn, employees and officials in the field of state secret protection expressed their gratitude for the special support and attention of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon and the provision of infrastructure and activities in this direction, and promised to continue their activities in accordance with the wise and constructive policy of the top political leadership of Tajikistan and to make more efforts to fulfill their tasks, to strengthen the protection of state and technical secret information.
