President Emomali Rahmon Holds Phone Call with President of the Russia Vladimir Putin

DUSHANBE, 04.05.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, had a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation, Honorable Vladimir Putin.
During the conversation, important issues of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia were reviewed.
In this context, issues of cooperation in the field of labor migration were discussed in detail. It was agreed that relevant instructions should be given to the sectoral agencies of the parties to make the work more active in this area.
The heads of the two states also emphasized the close coordination of law enforcement structures and special services in the fight against terrorism, extremism and transnational organized crime phenomena, and at the same time, the importance of further strengthening of their cooperation.
Presidents also exchanged views on separate issues of the international and regional agenda.
At the same time, the parties coordinated the schedule of upcoming bilateral meetings.
The President of the Russian Federation, Honorable Vladimir Putin, invited the Leader of the Nation to participate in the informal meeting of the heads of the CIS countries and events on the occasion of the Victory Day, which will be held in Moscow.
