DUSHANBE, 06.12.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Speaker of the Ntaional Assembly, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali received the newly appointed Ambassador of Germany to Tajikistan Yorck Schuegraf.

Rustam Emomali congratulated Yorck Schuegraf on the start of diplomatic activity in Tajikistan and expressed hope that it will contribute to strengthening relations between the two states.

The parties discussed current issues of interstate relations between Tajikistan and Germany and emphasized its increasing development over more than thirty years of establishing diplomatic relations.

It was expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation with the German side in promoting partnership and promoting sustainable development.

The meeting also focused on issues of prospects for the development and expansion of bilateral interstate and interparliamentary cooperation, expansion of trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties with an emphasis on the use of existing opportunities and resources.
