More Than 117 Sports Facilities Built in Tajikistan in 2023

DUSHANBE, 13.02.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – In 2023, 117 sports facilities were built in Tajikistan, including 87 sports grounds, 25 gyms, 2 swimming pools, 3 sports and recreation complexes at a cost of over 60,1 million. It was reported by the Chairman of the Committee for Youth and Sports Affairs Zulfikor Gulahmadzoda during a press conference.
In total, today there are 10,768 sports facilities in Tajikistan, regardless of their form of ownership.
In particular, 126 stadiums, 7,479 sports grounds, 2,214 gyms, 94 swimming pools, 84 health complexes and centers, as well as 771 specialized sports facilities.
During 2023, 38,734 events were held in the direction of physical education and sports development.
