AFC Cup–2017: Dushanbe’s “Istiqlol” defeated Indian “Bengaluru”
DUSHANBE, 28.09.2017 /NIAT «Khovar»/. The champion of Tajikistan – Dushanbe’s FC “Istiqlol” has defeated Indian “Bengaluru” in the first leg of the AFC Cup-2017 inter-zone final.
According to the Football Federation of Tajikistan, the match that was held on September 27 at the Hissar Central Stadium in the presence of 15 thousand spectators, ended with a score — 1:0. The only goal was scored in the 27th minute by the Russian footballer of “Istiqlol” Dmitriy Barkov. The second leg will be held on October 18 in the Indian city of Bangalore.
In case of success, “Istiqlol” will advance to the final of the AFC Cup-2017, where it will meet with the last year’s winner of the tournament — the Iraqi club “Air Force”.
