Three CAFA Teams Reach the Asian Cup Quarter-Finals

DUSHANBE, 01.02.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – All pairs of the 1/4 finals of the Asian Cup have been determined, among them three teams of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) (Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Iran), which is headed by the President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Rustam Emomali.
The last participant of the quarterfinals was the Iran, which defeated Syria in a penalty shootout.
Iran will play against Japan in the next match. The other quarterfinals will be between Tajikistan v Jordan, Australia v South Korea and Qatar v Uzbekistan. The matches will take place from February 2 through February 3.
The Asian Cup will end on February 10.
