International Navruz Holiday Celebrated in Moscow

DUSHANBE, 21.03.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Per initiative of the Embassy of Tajikistan in Russia, the celebration of International Navruz holiday took place with the participation of guests, compatriots, leaders and representatives of Tajik public associations in Russia, activists of social movements, representatives of the intelligentsia and business community, as well as Tajik students.
The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Russia Davlatshoh Gulmahmadzoda congratulated those present on the International Navruz holiday and spoke about its history, merits and protection of the national values of Tajikistan.
A Tajik table was decorated with “Haftsin” and “Haftshin”, treats from Tajik dishes and sweets, as well as books about Tajikistan, gulduzi (embroidery), chakan and other folk crafts.
A concert program was also organized as part of the event.
