DUSHANBE, 20.06.2024 /NIAT Khovar/. On June 19, 2024, UN-Women Executive Board Annual Session was chaired by the Vice-President of the UN-Women Executive Board, Mr. Jonibek Hikmat, Permanent Representatives of the Republic of Tajikistan to the UN.
During the session the Executive Board was presented with the annual official report on ethics function, received presentations on UN-Women’s operational response in Asia and the Pacific, an update on the implementation of General Assembly resolution 72/279 on the repositioning of the United Nations Development System, and an update on UN-Women policies and procedures to tackle sexual exploitation and abuse and sexual harassment.
