A meeting of heads of metropolitan divisions of internal affairs bodies of CIS member states began in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 11.07.2024 /NIAT «Khovar»/. The meeting of the heads of the metropolitan divisions of the internal affairs bodies of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States has started its work in Dushanbe.
Issue and experience of countering illegal migration, complication of drug situation, prevention of drug crimes committed by citizens of CIS member states, issue of interstate cooperation and possible ways of their solution are discussed.
The participants of the meeting noted that the exchange of experience between the staff of internal affairs bodies of the CIS countries is simply necessary.
It is planned to consider a wide range of issues on combating crime, the crime situation in the Commonwealth states, the implementation of interstate programs to combat particularly dangerous crimes — drug trafficking, arms trade, combating transnational criminal groups, terrorism and extremism.
