DUSHANBE, 09.07.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 9, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, launched the activity of «SAMO» Innovative Enterprise LLC in the city of Khujand.

The main direction of the company’s activity is the production of various electrical devices and equipment, and it was founded by the domestic businessman Abdumanon Toshkhujaev within the framework of the fourth national goal — rapid industrialization of the country.

During the acquaintance with the process of operation, the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon was informed that modern devices and technologies produced by developed countries have been installed in the enterprise.

In this new industrial facility in the city of Khujand, more than 60 local residents have been employed, their salary is from 2 to 10 thousand somoni.

The company produces about 60 types of electrical equipment, including energy-saving LED lamps, LED projectors, poles, power supply equipment, surveillance cameras, nationally designed radios, and other types of import substitution products. The production capacity of the enterprise is 10,000 pieces of electrical equipment per year, and the process of operation is carried out in accordance with international standards.

Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon called the entrepreneur’s initiative in implementing one of the strategic goals — rapid industrialization of the country as an example and gave useful instructions and advice to officials to expand the range of activities, ensure good quality of production and thereby reduce the volume of imports of electrical equipment.

Samples of the company’s products were displayed on the courtyard of the facility. During the years of independence, special attention was paid to the development of industry in the country, and many industrial enterprises have been established up to date.
