DUSHANBE, 09.07.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – In continuation of his working visit to the city of Khujand, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, met with orphans from all the cities and districts of the region at the «Istiklol Avenue» trade and service center and presented them with valuable gifts.

During a sincere conversation with the orphans who gathered from the cities and districts of the Sughd Province, the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon stated that the policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is focused on continuous care for orphans and those left without guardianship, needy families, and people with disabilities and creation of the necessary conditions for this population strata.

The orphans, who have been deprived of their parents by fate, were catered with a festive table and presented with financial aid, school uniforms, shoes, sweets and other valuable gifts.

The children expressed their happiness with the gifts of the philanthropic and humane head of the country and expressed their sincere gratitude to the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, for all his continuous care.

At the meeting, the Honorable Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, called on the orphans to use the provided opportunities to study with good and excellent grades, acquire knowledge, become patriots and contribute to their Motherland’s development with their profession.

It is worth mentioning that during the 33 years of the independence of the state, orphans and poor families are always under the direct attention of the Head of State, and all resources are used to improve their lives.
