Tajikistan, Saudi Arabia introduce short stay visa exemption for diplomatic and service passport holders

DUSHANBE, 30.09.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 27, 2024 in New York on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly was held a signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the mutual short stay visa exemption for diplomatic and service passport holders.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
During the meeting, the ministers also discussed several important topics on the bilateral and global agenda, including regional security, economic cooperation, as well as water and climate issues.
