On September 13, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, commissioned the building of a health center, a two-story central hospital and a three-story diagnostic and treatment center in Rasht district after the construction and renovation of the existing buildings.

Honorable Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon was informed that the construction and renovation of the central hospital buildings was completed within the framework of the state investment project with the cost of 90 million somoni of domestic funds and foreign capital.

In these buildings, there are various diagnostic and treatment departments, including a modern maternity hospital with the latest equipment and facilities, which has a total of 188 beds.

The diagnostic and treatment center consists of reception, emergency medical care, diagnostic, laboratory, surgery, delivery, obstetrics, pediatric, adult and intensive care departments with a capacity of 60 beds.

As part of the implementation of the project, the renewal of drinking water, sewage, heating, air conditioning, electricity and construction of facilities for the production of therapeutic gas or self-oxygen have been completed.

Within the scope of this project, the facility is equipped with furniture and modern medical equipment.

Honorable Emomali Rahmon was informed that the construction work on this facility began in August 2022 and was completed by the contractor — the construction company OJSC «Tojikhydroelectromontazh» at a high level and quality.

Honorable President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, praised the construction work, repair and renovation of facilities and guided the doctors to perform their professional mission in a high-quality manner.
