DUSHANBE, 12.07.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 12, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, commissioned the newly built Palace of Culture during his working trip to Tojikobod district.
The Palace of Culture was built as a celebratory building in the context of the well-deserved celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan in the town of Tojikobod with a beautiful and modern design and high architectural art.
The Head of State was informed that the two-story building of the Palace of Culture consists of 12 rooms and the main hall, including changing rooms, administrative, training and other rooms for artists and employees of the culture department.
The main hall, which is located on the first floor of the building, has 500 seats and is equipped with all the modern conditions and facilities for the training and preparation of artists and holding various political and cultural events.
The construction of this facility began in October 2018 and was built with the funding of the Directorate of Construction of Governmental Facilities of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan by the Limited Liability Company «Sakhovat 2005» with the involvement of local specialists.
The ceiling and walls of the spacious hall of the building are decorated with the national architectural art and the art of plastering and painting, taking into account the revival of the high arts and traditions of the Tajik nation.
The new building of the Palace of Culture, which is equipped with all the necessary infrastructure, is considered a unique cultural achievement for the people of culture and residents of Tojikobod district in the years of independence of the country.
People of culture accepted this next valuable gift from the Head of State on the day of welcoming the country’s Independence with pleasure and gratitude.
In continuation of the visit of the Head of State, a concert program of artists of the song and dance ensemble «Bayozi kuhiston» was presented at the facility.
The Honorable Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the quality of construction works and assessed the art and talent of people of culture as important in the formation and development of self-awareness and creativity of the people of the society.
The corridors of the outer part of the Palace of Culture are decorated with colorful seasonal flowers and evergreen plants, and comfortable seating is also provided for the residents.
The external appearance of this building is also equipped with special lighting, and at night it gives more beauty to the appearance of the town of the district.
