DUSHANBE, 07.07.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 7, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, opened by unveiling a symbolic plate a plant for the production of electric cables and hoses — «Abdulloev Saidboy» LLC in the industrial area of ​​Guliston, Sughd Province.

This enterprise was built by the local businessman Saidboy Abdulloev within the framework of «Years of Industrial Development».

During the acquaintance with the activity of the industrial enterprise, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that it was built on the area of ​​1.5 hectares of land and consists of two workshops for the production of electric cables, rubber and corrugated hoses.

The electric cable production plant is located on the area of ​​1200 square meters, and its production capacity is 300 thousand long meters per month. In this workshop, up to 30 types of electric cables with capacity from 450 volts to 1 kilovolt are produced. These cables are intended for internal power lines of residential and administrative buildings.

It was said that 14 local residents have been provided with jobs and adequate wages at this workshop in two shifts. At present, raw materials for wiring are imported from abroad. In the future, it is planned to start the production of plastic granules in the same plant.

The activity of another workshop of this enterprise is focused on the production of rubber hoses. 8 people are employed at the workshop in two shifts. The workshop equipment imported and installed here is also manufactured by leading global companies.

The production plant was built on the area of ​​648 square meters and has the capacity to produce 60,000 meters of rubber and corrugated hoses per month.

7 types of rubber hoses with a diameter of 10 to 40 millimeters and 5 types of corrugated hoses with a diameter of 16 to 40 millimeters are produced here.

The domestic company «Amir» was involved in the construction of the enterprise, and it was built with high quality in almost a year.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, while familiarizing himself with the possibilities of the enterprise, praised the quality of construction works and its role in providing new jobs, increasing export capacity and reducing imported products.

In addition to production buildings, the new enterprise also has an administrative building, a canteen for employees and other auxiliary facilities, which provide favorable conditions for employees’ work and rest.

In total, about 30 local residents are provided with jobs and good salaries at the enterprise.

Samples of goods and products of this industrial plant were displayed in the courtyard of the enterprise.

The use of such enterprises, whose products are mainly import substitutes and export-oriented, is a significant step towards achieving the fourth national goal — rapid industrialization of the country.

Taking into account the great importance of this goal, today in the cities and districts of the country, including in the Sughd Province, domestic investors are building factories and production enterprises on the basis of modern and innovative technology.

The attention of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to the development of industry and partnership between the state and the private sector has led to the increase in the number of industrial enterprises in the country during the years of independence. The announcement of «Years of Industrial Development» also gave a serious impetus to this process.
