DUSHANBE, 13.10.2024 /NIAT Khovar/. On October 13, during his working visit to Badakhshan Mountainous Autonomous Province, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, put into operation the Technological Park in the city of Khorugh with the coverage of several industrial enterprises.

The Technological Park of the city of Khorugh was built on an area of 1.6 hectares, and there are factories for the processing and packaging of meat, medicinal herbs, dried fruits and vegetables, dry-cleaning, furniture production, etc.

This action was implemented within the framework of the fourth national goal — «Rapid industrialization of the country».

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, first put in commission the fruit and vegetable processing factory «Nasim» LLC in the city of Khorugh in the Technological Park. The enterprise was built at the cost of 2.1 million somoni, and it includes the production and packaging of 12 types of fruit sweets.

Here, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, also inaugurated the factory for the processing and packaging of medicinal plants of «Avicenna» LLC. This enterprise was built on an area of 160 square meters, and its production capacity is 5 tons of fruits and medicinal herbs per year.

During the commissioning of Khorugh city Technological Park, the project of the meat and meat products factory was presented to the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon. The construction of the enterprise began in March 2024, and its total area is 2,600 square meters.

50 people will be employed as soon as this enterprise starts operating. The raw material for meat products is yak meat, which is purchased from Murgob district and other farms of the region.

Honorable President of the country Emomali Rahmon also commissioned the dry cleaning workshop in this place. This is the first technological service facility for washing carpets, blankets, curtains and clothes in the city of Khorugh.

Honorable Emomali Rahmon also put into operation the soft furniture production plant of «Khonaobod» LLC in the Technological Park of Khorugh city, and got acquainted with the products of the plant in the demonstration corner.

The enterprise consists of two workshops, where 12 local residents are employed. The devices and equipment of the company for the production of soft furniture were imported from the People’s Republic of China, using which 10 types of products are produced.

At the same time, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, put into use the «Bunyod» LLC fresh fruit processing factory in this place.

The enterprise is equipped with 6 types of modern juice production equipment, and the product quality meets the standard requirements.

It is worth mentioning that in 9 months of 2024, 42 new industrial enterprises with 230 jobs started operating in Badakhshan Mountainous Autonomous Province.
