DUSHANBE, 26.10.2024 /NIAT Khovar/. On October 26, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, arrived in Rudaki district in order to get acquainted with the living conditions of the people and opening of a number of facilities for various purposes.

Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon first put the confectionery factory «Shohasar» into use.

The confectionery factory «Shohasar» was built by the domestic businessman Muhammad Nasriddinov on an area of 2.42 hectares.

After the operation of the enterprise, a total of 85 people have been provided with jobs and good wages. Depending on the efficiency of the activity, the volume of production will increase and the number of jobs according to the plan will be increased to 150 people by 2026.

7 types of confectionery products are produced in 7 production lines of «Shohasar» enterprise.

«Shohasar» enterprise consists of 5 buildings — 2 production workshops, warehouse of raw materials, product storage and administration.

The company also has a laboratory with the most advanced equipment in the world and a canteen with a hundred seats.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, was informed that 60 percent of the workers are women, and the production capacity of this company includes up to 800 tons of confectionery products per year.

Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon highly appreciated the construction works at this enterprise and the installation of advanced equipment, which leads to an increase in the quality of products.

President also directed the domestic businessman to strengthen the company’s activity and contribute to the development of the light industry, which is considered one of the priority spheres in the Republic of Tajikistan.
