Tajikistan, Austria hold inter-ministerial political consultations in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 04.10.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On October 3, 2024, the 11th round of political consultations between Tajikistan and Austria was held in Dushanbe under the leadership of the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ismatullo Nasredin, and the Deputy Director General for Political Affairs of the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs of Austria Gerhard Sailler.
During the consultations, a constructive exchange of views took place regarding the current state and prospects for expanding bilateral relations in the areas of politics, economics and trade, healthcare, science and culture, tourism, security, as well as establishing mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of renewable energy sources.
In the course of negotiations, the parties also focused on cooperation within the framework of international and regional organisations.
The parties expressed their interest in further developing multifaceted relations between Tajikistan and Austria in all areas of mutual interest.
