Tajikistan, Saudi Arabia discuss digitalization of the environmental protection sector

DUSHANBE, 08.10.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On October 7, 2024, the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Sheralizoda Bakhodur held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Tajikistan Walid bin Abdulrahman Alreshaydan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the draft agreement between the Committee for Environmental Protection and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the exchange of experience between the departments of the two countries, the digitalization of the environmental protection sector and preparation for the UN Conference of the Parties to Combat Desertification COP 16, which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from December 2 to 13, 2024.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding, the parties reached an agreement to continue mutually beneficial cooperation.
